What to Bring

Though all campsites for glamping are equipped with the comfort of homes and hotels, there are still some things that you need to bring along. Make sure to have your own first aid kit with medicine in case of emergency. Raincoat, poncho, or jacket to protect yourself from the elements will be important especially if you plan to explore the great outdoors. Hiking boots will also be a must.

Sunscreen and other personal care products might be needed depending on the season and the location. It helps to have a GPS device or mobile phone as well in case the group gets carried away and wanders too far from the glampsite.

Start Planning

Planning beforehand is always important especially for a camping trip that will probably be away from one’s home. Food is usually served in glampsites, but make sure that the group gets a balanced diet. Also, make sure that there is enough water for trips to the great outdoors as well. Clothes should be appropriate for the weather, location, and climate.

Have safety plans for the group and inform everyone about it. Know where the nearest town is from the glampsite and have an escape route. In case of any emergency, knowing how to get to the nearest town will definitely be useful.

Before choosing a glampsite, make sure that they have facilities like toilets, showers, storage, and water. As mentioned earlier, if there are other facilities needed, make sure that glampsite offers that as well.

Last, but not the least, in computing for the cost, include the travel cost. Planning for that trip to and from the glampsite means choosing a mode of transportation, considering the distance, and the overall cost to get there.
