Get the Best of Both Worlds and EnjoyGlamping
Do you want a truly unique experience for that hen party in Ireland? Is the group torn between more adventurous women and those who’d rather experience the finer things in life? Glamping can be the best hen party activity for it does really give the best of both worlds.
“Glamping” is a term formed from two words – glamorous camping. It combines camping with the luxury that you find in hotels and homes. It is the latest camping craze because even those that cannot even bear the thought of traditional camping in the outdoors tend to appreciate camping through glamping. Imagine having everything you’d ever need in the middle of nowhere – that’s what glamping is all about.
Glamorous camping is not available in every campsite. There are certain glampsites that have the amenities for it. The cost for camping in these campsites will differ similar to hotels. It will all depend on the level of luxury offered by that facility. To give you an idea, it can cost as low as 50 Euros a night to thousands of Euros.
Owners of these facilities are quite creative and there are various lodging structures in different facilities. Some have tipis, safari tents, bell tents, tent cabins, tree houses, pods, and yurts. All will have access to the great outdoors, but not all of them will have fresh beddings, en suite washrooms, private verandas, or food service.
How to choose a particular site? Choose a glampsite based on the level of luxury you want or need. Or, you can always choose one based on its location.
What to Bring
Though all campsites for glamping are equipped with the comfort of homes and hotels, there are still some things that you need to bring along. Make sure to have your own first aid kit with medicine in case of emergency. Raincoat, poncho, or jacket to protect yourself from the elements will be important especially if you plan to explore the great outdoors. Hiking boots will also be a must.
Sunscreen and other personal care products might be needed depending on the season and the location. It helps to have a GPS device or mobile phone as well in case the group gets carried away and wanders too far from the glampsite.
Planning beforehand is always important especially for a camping trip that will probably be away from one’s home. Food is usually served in glampsites, but make sure that the group gets a balanced diet. Also, make sure that there is enough water for trips to the great outdoors as well. Clothes should be appropriate for the weather, location, and climate.
Have safety plans for the group and inform everyone about it. Know where the nearest town is from the glampsite and have an escape route. In case of any emergency, knowing how to get to the nearest town will definitely be useful.
Before choosing a glampsite, make sure that they have facilities like toilets, showers, storage, and water. As mentioned earlier, if there are other facilities needed, make sure that glampsite offers that as well.
Last, but not the least, in computing for the cost, include the travel cost. Planning for that trip to and from the glampsite means choosing a mode of transportation, considering the distance, and the overall cost to get there.
Glamping will be an unforgettable experience for hens that want to have the best of both worlds. So, for that hen night in the glampsite, make sure to bring all those hen party accessories and play some hen party games to make the evening even more memorable.
